My Lover

My lover rests his sleepy head,
Laid down comfy in our bed,
And so I fight the dark once more,
And through the wounds the blood does pour,
For the silver moon to shine upon,
The pain from these scars has long since gone,
Under cover of the star-flecked night,
My love for you will never take flight ,

I battle for your hand,
So we may take a stand,
Against the ruthless, doubting scum,
That would have us never act as one,
For them I have no respect,
For they could so heartlessly object,
To a passion that the three fates have wound,
And was worked hard for to be found...

And even if the dark should come again,
My love for him will never wane,
For true love comes only to some,
And to lose him would cause a mighty sum,
Upon my soul the blows would rain,
And only death would end my pain,
So rest my love and do not fear,
For the worst they'll ever do is leer,
At my faithless love for you so bright,
As I stare unblinkingly, protectively, into the night.

Minecraftia: Tales of a Foreign land.

A glowstone moon,
Shines across the sand,
Come home soon,
From your foreign land...

A  river through a forest,
Across the jungle,
Take a rest,
Fill your bundle.

Stone pickaxe broke,
Iron swords all I need,
Is that smoke?
Attracted to Feed.

A  trickle of lava,
Into a ravine,
I spy water,
Unlike none I've seen.

Make my way down,
Guided by torchlight,
What've I found,
Glinting in the dark night?

Iron pick,
Fresh to use,
Chink Chink Click,
I break on through.

Diamond drop one,
Diamond drop two,
Break through of sun,
Glinting off the blue.

Diamond drop three,
Diamond drop four,
All I see,
Is this vein of ore.

Diamond drop five,
The last ones mine,
Enough to survive,
Feeling fine.

SsS sSs SsS,
Hear the fabled sound,
Swords in my hand,
Turn around.

One strike,
Two strike,
Three strike,
RUN!

Leg it out,
To the rising sun,
A grateful shout,
No hearts lost bar one.

Run to the forest ,
Punch a tree,
Craft a work bench,
Smiling with glee.

Grab some sticks,
Diamonds aplenty ,
Just five clicks,
And then uses three-twenty.

Diamond pickaxe,
Finest tool in the land,
And there it laid,
Resting in my hand.

Three more clicks,
And a sword was mine too,
A deadly mix,
A shining turqoise blue.

And that is the tale,
Of a foreign land,
Beyond the forest and jungle,
I long for my home sand.
